Business & Commercial Skills – Case Studies
Case Study: PCT provider arm options
Supporting West Sussex PCT as they work through the options for moving provider services outside the main body of the PCT. This has involved developing options for corporate forms and assessment criteria leading to a short list and preferred option. We have helped with the engagement with staff and community groups to explain the process, to secure their support for the process and options being adopted.
We have created a Memorandum of Agreement with potential service partners, and the production of business cases for the short-listed options to support the transition into the new corporate form. NHS Elect is also delivering a series of training programmes aimed at equipping staff to understand and thrive in the new competitive environment.
