We are always happy to discuss membership with any organisation that feels they could benefit from joining the NHS Elect network.
There is a quarterly membership fee that we use to fund the work we do with each site, agreeing a local plan that includes 'reinvestment' of this funding to deliver the priorities agreed by member sites.
If you are interested in joining or would like to find out more, please contact Caroline Dove and ask about getting a free quarter’s membership upon joining.
Benefits of NHS Elect membership
Case Studies
“The Great Western Hospitals Foundation Trust has been a member of NHS Elect since 2006. As an acute hospital trust, with a PFI NHS Treatment Centre extension, we enlisted the expertise of NHS Elect to support the redesign of our clinical pathways. NHS Elect worked with clinical staff to redesign pathways that delivered high quality, effective care that patients like. This supported us to deliver 13 weeks, across all our specialities, in December 2008 - well ahead of the national 18 weeks target.
"We have also used NHS Elect to help us in a number of areas, including advice on use of staff by the private sector for non contracted hours, marketing and web site design. Our staff (and therefore our patients) have benefitted by sharing learning from the diverse NHS Elect membership and have thoroughly enjoyed the on-site support, workshops, events and study tours. The NHS Elect team are skilled, knowledgeable, accessible and always helpful."
Lyn Hill-Tout, Chief Executive, Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
“We have been working with NHS Elect for the last two years. They have been responsive, practical and very helpful on operational issues and in improving our interpretation of market information. They have also given timely and helpful advice and guidance on issues emerging in the contestable marketplace and their seminars are invariably high quality.
"Always friendly and knowledgeable, our staff always clamour to be released for any sessions they are running. We very much value our relationship with NHS Elect”.
David Searle , Executive Director of Corporate Development, Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust
